Baduanjin

Baduanjin, formed in the 12th century, is simple and easy to perform and has remarkable effects. It is an excellent traditional Chinese health care exercise.

 

 The ancients compared this set of movements to “jin”, which means stretching the movements.

 

As graceful and smooth as brocade, it is divided into eight sections, each section has an action, so it is called “Eight Sections of Brocade”.

Tai Chi is based on the concept of Tai Chi Yin and Yang, and is a boxing technique created by integrating the meridian science, guidance, and breathing of traditional Chinese medicine. It contains the qualities of Yin and Yang, conforms to the human body structure, and the laws of nature. It achieves the purpose of cultivating one’s moral character, cultivating one’s sentiments, strengthening one’s body, and extending one’s life through repeated practice of guiding the whole body with thoughts, relaxing in silence, guiding Qi with thoughts, and promoting body with Qi.
